American apparel do really nice smart fisherman style jumpers. They look really good with a shirt but it's probably the wrong time of year to be buying jumpers like that. They're about 80 quid.

Uniqlo are excellent for smart jumpers. You know this kind?

Very reasonably priced and super fast delivery. The one downside is you'd have to judge your size and because they're a Japanese company they tend to be a slightly smaller fit. They're great though.

Yeah, I've had a couple for well over a year and a half that I wear for work and they still look good. Go for the extra fine merino ones.
