Does anyone know how to get rid of those poxy fucking ad panels that appear on your browser window in the Status Line and in the top right hand corner near the 3 windows symbols for closing (see image included) I've had these for ages now, I didn't even ask for them and I can't get rid of them . Any mistake in clicking and you're directed straight to their wanky site, Christ, I'm sick and tired of bastard ad-men infiltrating my life...

That comes with Netsonic i think, get rid of Netsonic and you get rid of that, maybe

Cheers Rockto for the hint. It looks like the work of ROSOFT (MIC prefix missing ?) becuase I don't have anything netsonic related on my machine. But I do have a ROSOFT cd-ripper which I'm loathe to dispose of..but this might cure it. I'll keep trying.
