Funny thing about Americans, they actually do trust each other to be competent enough to bend the H&S rules, because they are that competent. They're not the best in the world, but they gain efficiencies out of having a really good attitude towards teamwork. And all their crews are unionised, in a country that hates socialism, jus'sayin.

This side of the ocean trusting your coworkers to not get you killed would be a rare thing.

And it's steel, not iron.
And they're called scaff clamps, not cheeseboroughs. GRRRR, Americans.
