this makes baby jesus cry.
giving away children's toys at christmas is not very nice. there are lots of other ways to deal with bold children, being a good parent is usually the best start.

I want to make a back up of a dvd. I have ripped the dvd and it's 7.7GB. The DVD-R discs only hold 4.7GB. What do i do to make it work?

also

I want to burn another dvd, I'm using iDVD however I want to put the movies onto it without the audio. Can this be done from iDVD or do i have to use some other programme to make the movies silent?

compress to fuck? never done it before but it seems like a logical place to start.

There's a nifty piece of software called dvd shrink that automatically compresses the ripped dvd - it gives you a list of all of the options (audio, subtitles, extras etc) and how much space they take up on the disc - you tick the ones you want to keep and then just burn the fucker using nero. Can't remember where to find it - I'll popst later when I'm at home.

there was a very noisy computer in work that I used to have to kick to shut it up, such was its noise. it sounded like a fecking motorbike. I am convinced some of the computers in my office were fished out of skips, they are so bad.
