The Body&Soul Festival is back this June with an even louder bang and a line-up that is set to impress the most discerning of ears.

The very latest addition to the Bill at Ballinlough is Lisa Hannigan whose soothing sweet voice will provide the most suitable of soundtracks for Body&Soul festival-goers. She will be giving fans a first chance to hear her forthcoming second album as well as established classics from her Mercury and Choice-nominated 2009 debut album ‘Sea Sew’. Also featuring will be the distinct sounds of Barcelona's Delorean and their first Irish gig with their laid-back tracks custom made for a Summer’s day.

Straight off a plane from Sonar, is New Yorker-Chilean Nicolas Jaar who has been causing quite a stir across Europe in the last year having been coined one of most talented minds dance music is about to see develop. He released one of the albums of the year ‘Space is Only Noise’ in February, a slow-burning masterpiece whose appeal was probably best summarised by Dazed & Confused when they said ‘Nicolas Jaar has achieved something that few electronic musicians have achieved before – bringing geeky techno fiends, jazz lovers and ravers into an unholy union’. This show will be his first live show in Ireland, and will feature a four-piece band including an array of keyboards, synths, drums, guitar and live vocals.

The legendary Roxy DJ Don Letts will be responsible for bringing some reggae sounds to Ballinlough, while Donal Dineen's recording project Parish will see Liam O Maonlai, Ronan O’ Snodaigh and Congolese musicians Niwel TsumbuandAminah Dastan take to the heavenly fields in Co. Meath.

These acts join a colorful line-up for the weekend which includes Fat Freddy's Drop, Holy Fuck, Lamb, Mount Kimbie, The Field, Plaid, Arborea, The Correspondents, Joris Voorn, Brandt Brauer Frick, Darkstar, Toro y Moi along with a host of young Irish talent featuring Cloud Castle Lake. Lisa O Neill and Daithi.

Bursting on to the summer scene in 2010 in Ballinlough Castle, Co. Westmeath, The Body&Soul Festival bowled everybody over in its virgin stand-alone voyage with its trademark magic ambience - oozing with effervescence and its collective, creative flair that presents itself in every corner, twist and turn of the expansive walled gardens and woodlands of the Castle. The mischievous sparkle of the open-air masquerade ball sees Saturday night revellers in full costume under the stars.

Adding to the permanent installations on-site, the celebrated Burning Man artists Gerard Minakawa and SHRINE will make their annual trek from California to work exclusively with Body&Soul, contributing their craftmanship to the festival's landscape with a new custom-built bamboo stage and dramatic art pieces made from found and recycled materials.

In keeping with the Solstice tradition, a closing lakeside fire ceremony will present a magnificent spectacle featuring floating art, fireworks and flamethrowers.

Winner of "Best New Festival 2010" and "Socially Responsible Award" at the Irish Festival Awards, 2011, The Body&Soul Festival is set to present an even more spectacular wonderland this year, with weekend camping tickets from as little as €99, Festival goers can look forward to an eclectic mix of music, holistic arts, an exclusive soul kids area, delicious food and a healthy sprinkling of surprises along the winding journey of the weekend.
