Birds of Delay is the duo of Steven Warwick and Luke Younger,
who are based in Leeds and London. They have become one
of the most consistent and best offerings from the UK noise
scene, with a prolific outpouring of material, through a never
ending list of labels, including No Fun, American Tapes, and
Alcoholic Narcholepsy, and their continually evolving live
performances. While their sound is underpinned by some
almighty drones, the pair bring out an ever-changing array
of instruments and electronic trickery to create some of
the most intricately rendered 'noise' around. In their own
words, they craft ""destructive improvisations to rattle the
body and shake the soul in an attempt to create an
emotionally cathartic experience for both performer and
listener"

Toymonger are Andrew Fogarty (Bullets, Tremors) and Gavin Prior
(United Bible Studies). They play noise/Doom-drone/Dark Rave
music. Their debut LP "The Night Vision" will be released on
Munitions Village.

Cant wait for this ...will be definately at the stress! gig...the last toymonger gig i was at blew my mind!!! and hurt my ears..but warmed my heart!:heart:if it wasnt for work i think id be also at the leeds gig with the telescopes...what a night thats going to be!!!.|..|.|..|.|..|.|..|

That was a good 'un..describing Birds of delay as a cross between Brian Eno's "Apollo" and "Electric Ladyland"..
I'm really looking forward to them in particular though, will be playing in the improv jam meself. Rock!
