how is this different from taking any signal and running it through amp modelling software?

other than USB...does it have midi or anything?
 
Well I've just converted my Marshall Superlead, my '63 Gretsch and all my pedals to USB. When I don't want to use the amp I can hook it straight to my laptop and use a Marshall Superlead modelling software, it actully sounds better and isn't that suppose what it's all about!?

It also means everyone can fuck off when they want to use my gear at gigs.
