Dublin based singer songwriter brings a full band to the ballroom to perform songs from his excellent Steve Albini produced LP 'when you are here you are family' in advance of his upcoming US tour. Adrian is working on an as-yet untitled 3rd album.

El Diablo are Ireland's finest alt. country band, drawing comparisons to Calexico, Giant Sand and Gram Parsons for their
gothic twang. Their 23rd Psalm album, partly recorded in Nashville, is available now.

Another Dublin Act , SRS play quiet introspective Americana that recalls Sparklehorse and Will Oldham. In December they released an eponymous E.P.

Michael Knight is the acronym for 60's pop and 80's TV inspired singer songwriter Richie. Part of the Villain records stable he'll be releasing material later in the year.

there are now at least 4 clubs on thursdays, and i think d1 are starting a new new night soon.
