Badminton (2 Viewers)

After 26 years I'm packing in football and have been doing a beginners course in badminton near where i live. I'm going to do the improvers course and then join a club. It's a deadly sport - really fast, no kicking in the ankles, and is indoors so you can play in all weathers. 90% of my class is female though, so i need some boys to play against.

Anyone else ever play? I think nnnngggggllllbllttthh used to be leinster champ or something.

gave it all up aged 15 to work in a supermarket for money to buy records.

wouldn't be a bad idea if I took it up again - might get fit and lose a few pounds.

i played on the leinster squad for a bit.

I gave up playing badminton properly when I was in 4th year in college but played a bit here and there over the last few years.
