And now the end is here, and so we face the final curtain... Yes folks, unless you've been stranded in [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nunavut"]Nunavut[/ame] you'll be aware that we're almost at the end of the Decade With No Name. And while every mag and its aunt will be rounding up the best albums released since 2000, we thought we'd do things slightly differently.
That's why we're asking our staff, contributors and most importantly YOU, the readers, to tell us about the Irish albums you have loved and hopefully not lost over the last 10 years. Compile a list of up to 20 albums, ranked in order, and email it to us - [email protected] I'll then have the thankless (but probably fascinating, now I come to think of it) task of putting it all in a spreadsheet and coming up with a final countdown.
The deadline for your lists is Monday, November 23. Yes, time is tight, so get your thinking caps on and your lists in. Remember, we're looking for Irish albums only - north or south. And the Irish/UK release dates must have been since January 1, 2000.
Happy listing!
