but I's just meaning like 4kHz, ear-fokkin teeth breaking vocal feedback. I could live in a world of thick guitar feedback.

I don't love feedback. Feedback is a sorely abused thing in Dublin bands. Unless used sparsely or to complement a song which sounds quite natural and clean. So many gigs I've been to and feedback is so overpowering that nothing else can really be heard. And theres the band on stage goin mental, thinkin they're rockin the joint. When no-one can hear a fuckin note. The whole thing degrades into a mishmash. Yeah....that reaaally rocks!bog

sometimes that mishmash is exactly the sound the band is going for, it can be a kind of music in itself. think outside the box man

admittedly, a lot of the time its the dodgy sound setup in the venue itself
