Ha!
Very true.
Well, it is celebrating the 10th anniversary so i think that's kinda the point.
The good outweighs the shit though.

Barry Hogan is DJing in the IFI tomorra if ya wanna have a word in his ear

Damn why couldn't they just add all those bands to the MBV one.
Exactly. Probably they realised the MBV one was gonna sell out regardless of what else is on the rest of the bill so thought to themsleves.. hey let's throw another one on.

Personally speaking I'm delighted they haven't lumped those ATP regulars onto the MBV one. I like some of those bands but jesus, enough already.

Also if the website/last few ATP's are anything to go by, Hogans DJ set will just consist of him playing the Sleepy Sun and Fuck Buttons records. Talk about over exposure.

Sorry I'll stop giving out now.

Actually thinking about it you make a very good point, I'd say the MBV one will be the most varied atp in a long time. There is some great bands in that list above but i've seen the majority of them before.

Here, not trying to start a fight but do people actually like shellac or is it all a big joke? Were they good back in the day or something? One of the most embarrassing live shows i've ever seen.

interestingly enough they have a bunch of offers going on for people who have already got MBV tickets. they are giving 20 pounds off your chalet and if you want you can stay in butlins for the week in between the two weekends for 100 quid.
