i never liked much of his other stuff... i downright hated Midnight Express, but only because it was so lame compared to the book... and dont even get me started on Evita or Angela's Ashes...

I bought this on DVD the other week. Brilliant film!!! I love the noir style to it. Anyone know any films with a similar mood to it??? The only one I can really think of at the mo is Hellraiser:Inferno at a push.

Angel Heart is the reason why I automatically assume that any film with Mickey Rourke in it is going to be good, despite this theory having been proven wrong on any number of occasions.
