Amsterdam for New Years

Any idea's folks? Just found out that a couple of us are heading over.
Anyone one know where to see good music and what clubs might be good for New Years eve

Amsterdam on NYE is insane. I went over as a wide eyed 18 year old many years ago. Fireworks everywhere, and I mean everywhere, whizzing past your ears. Every square filled to the brim with messed up insane people. Obvious but have a look to see whats on in the paradiso and the milkweg.

paradiso would be an amazing place to spend NYE. also check out the very small chain of kandinsky coffee shops. style and elegance. and if it's not booked out, try the hotel winston.

just stick with the nescafé sachets
i noticed a funny smell in several of them "coffee" shops

it has everything under one roof..stylish rooms..a coffee shop in the hotel.. a deadly night club(Iggy pop played there to a crowd of about 300 the last time I stayed) has a sculpture garden and it's very cheap.

Yeah, this is a good call. Winston Kingdom, which is the club part of it, often has great gigs.
