What's the story with this shower? They alright like? Myself and the lads want to add an affiliate to the site to pay for hosting and some admin work we're having done, and was going to use this crowd as they have US and European outlets and the best range of stuff. They all kosher on the ethics end or what?

I've been using amazon for years as an affiliate and not got a penny off them (well not enough people bought off them thru me!).
I'm using Google Ads, which so far I'm getting about €150 a year from clicks, a nice contrib to the hosting....

Yeah, i hear from people that google ads are handy, but i think they're a bit intrusive - don't want to have obvious ads, y'know. I used amazon before on the Pacer site and made enough for a few metallica cds! The brother uses it on his francis bacon site and, from what i remember, makes a fair bit.

I wouldn't toss and turn at night moralising about having an Amazon link on your site. Fuck it, most of yis use Microsoft operating systems etc etc it seems a bit arbitrary to boycott one and not the other. If it helps yer site stay up and running by having a stupid link to Amazon I'd say go for it.
