"The instrumental rock stylings of Alright the Captain veer from ‘jazz odyssey’ moodscapes to fist-making stadium-rousers" - CultureNorthernIreland

"Alright The Captain interlace complex and obscure melodies with some extremely sensible song structures" - Drop-D.ie

"enveloping math-rock, chock full of huge noises and complex structures" - Leftlion

Support from CHRIK (myspace.com/chrikmusic)

"Chrik are an extraordinary two piece from Liverpool taking the possibilities of guitar and drums to another world altogether. Noisy and melodic, subtle and brutal, they create affecting inventive soundscapes, leading you to the edge of confusion before pulling you back with an unexpectedly beautiful melody."
