Anyone know if the problems with the mac book pro using the non TI chip have been sorted out?

i know they were causing problems with pretty much all audio devices....

is it safe to buy a new Mac Book Pro?

dunno about this but i've had mad problems with ableton since running the last airport update. the sound on myspace is fucked too. fix can be found here if anyone cares, gonna try it out later.

i think...think...it was a batch of macbook pro's that came out in late 2007 which used a different cheapo firewire chip that wasn't working with anything.

i think...think...that they're back using the TI chips and it should be fine again...
