Bewley's theatre is by far the best place for a gig in town, its amazing, stags head can fit 60,i think you can fit 100 there, they have pa and great lights. I'm seeing a gig there this monday,

I always fancied Doyle's of College Green for its intimate-ness. The Ruby Sessions always feel good with a pint or three and the candles in operation.

The PA belongs to the Ruby Sessions gang though so you might need to organise your own for a gig there. Although I think Doyles are pretty pro-gigs.

Parlour Bar is no more, sold 3 months ago and is now a touristy shadow of it's former glory. They dont rent it out for gigs anymore.

The ruby sessions can fuck off.

tried doyle's myself as a venue. they were having none of it! told me they don't do music gigs?! fair enough.
