I think a hallmark of 2009 is the way that so many threads on Thumped have descended into some sort of edgy pantomime for the recently lobotomized

Do they tailor pantomimes only for the recently lobotomized? That's a niche market.

This years Bill Callahan lp is the only album of his I couldnt get into, (I haved heard the first 3 yet though). Also the new Sonic Youth album is their worse album yet by a country mile.
