I've never seen her in CSI as I don't own a TV and wouldn't bother hunting it down but I'm assuming she devours the screen every time the camera is on her. So yeah watch Treme if for nothing else just to see her.

The characters are great, the plot, if you could call it that is not going to have you gripped though. Still It's well directed and the acting is superb. If you invest yourself in the lives of the characters you'll be hooked. Plus this lady's performance is frighteningly brilliant Khandi...

I don't care about gender roles, I find the whole concept tiresome so i didn't notice or if I did I just blocked that out completely. The characters in both are well written and so well preformed that I was more interested in them rather than anything else.
