Room of Lights, their first album, is good. It’s the one Howard plays on, Alex Hacke from Neubauten plays guitar for them after that. To be honest, I like them up as far as Paradise Discotheque - I haven’t listened to the new albums after they reformed.

Me either. I do have his last album though, it’s pretty good. I need to get my record player sorted and get listening to it again. Did you ever like Crime and the City Solution? I think the original run of albums are pretty special.

Awesome! Marry Me is one of my all time favourite songs. That’s shitty!

I bought that the first time around, it’s brilliant. There’s another album she did a couple of years later with Andrew Liles that is also worth getting.

Oh wow, didn’t know a release for Trio existed. Spicy money though, will have to pass.

Despite the horrendous shipping, I just had to buy it. Still about €500 cheaper than trying to get an original.

I used to get sent promos of all their releases, it was hard to keep up. Some amazing stuff. Some dreck too.

Just got my copy of Coil’s Constant Shallowness Leads to Evil on Dais Records. I have the original CD version but love that they’ve used the geometric art that Coil used for projections on this tour, looks amazing on an LP sleeve. Probably a niche choice but if you like the sounds of analogue...

The differences are more noticeable than I was expecting but so far the original CD mixes are still the best.

This one isn’t upcoming, it seems to have slipped past me entirely last year. Listening to it now on streaming and will see how much I needed multiple mixes of the same songs (though excited to hear the live tracks as I saw them on that tour and they were unreal).

Do I need a fourth version of that? Probably not.

I got the vinyl box as I already have the Wümme box from years ago but have none of the early stuff on vinyl. There’s a CD version of this new one and everything is getting an individual release down the line as far as I know.

Got the new Faust 1971-1974 vinyl box in the post yesterday. It’s the first music I’ve bought in months and it looks amazing. All the 70s albums, an unreleased album and a compilation of unreleased songs. And a couple of singles.

Amazing, I’ve been looking for an original copy for not-silly money for about 15 years.
