Thread for upcoming reissues of interest (1 Viewer)

This one isn’t upcoming, it seems to have slipped past me entirely last year. Listening to it now on streaming and will see how much I needed multiple mixes of the same songs (though excited to hear the live tracks as I saw them on that tour and they were unreal).

The differences are more noticeable than I was expecting but so far the original CD mixes are still the best.

Just got my copy of Coil’s Constant Shallowness Leads to Evil on Dais Records. I have the original CD version but love that they’ve used the geometric art that Coil used for projections on this tour, looks amazing on an LP sleeve. Probably a niche choice but if you like the sounds of analogue synthesisers regurgitating into each other over a marimba backing while John Balance delivers some of his best shamanic lyrics, dive right in. The last track is a monster and is a Father Ted reference which was unexpected at the time.

Planning on picking this up myself. The other Coil reissues on Dais have been great, in my experience!

Thorr’s Hammer reissue with their 2010 Roadburn reunion included with the original album.

Symposium reformed and are playing some gigs and releasing a best of and their stuff is finally on streaming. Honestly not sure how to feel about it but hey, 1997 forever

Symposium

Farewell to Twilight still absolutely rules, Bury You is still the whiniest bit of self-pity I've ever heard. In retrospect I guess they were inventing a particularly British form of Emo that never really went anywhere.

We need an NME Brats tour thread, man.
