    New Manics single

Hawley parts are great, JDB vocal is too loud compared to Hawley's though. Nearly expexted a Hetfield "yeaaah aahh" in there.

    Galway

It's been absolutely mental in Galway the last week, whole town seems to be drunk by 10 o clock. Try and get in early and grab a seat in O'Connell's on Eyre Square, Freeney's on Shop Street or just head to Sally Long's for the tunes. Not a lot on gigwise this week.

    Le Garage Punk Thread

Nope, page 2. Loads of deadly stuff to be checking out here. And early Hellacopters should fit the bill for Scandinavian garage punk.

"Standing In The Shadows Of Motown" is a great one. About the Motown backing band, the Funk Brothers. "Good Rockin' Tonight - The Legacy of Sun Records" is a good one too. "Behind The Lighted Stage" is a good Rush doc if you're into them. If ya want any of them on disc, let me know and I'll...

The talking about Arsenal FC thread

Yep. And unfortunately, Yep. Decent run out tonight, Henderson was a bit shakey but done ok. Diaby done a fair bit in the first half. And Chamakh just seemed to die on his legs throughout the second.

February SoR gig w/ Easpa Measa, Dropping Bombs & Dirge

This was a great gig. Great to see some folks I hadn't seen in a while. Great gig by all the bands but a bit of a strange tension in the place, maybe due to the Friday night, maybe not. I had been in at 2 to watch the St Pauli game and even then it was a bit odd. Really impressed by Dropping Bombs.
