    Casa Rebelde

The plan was by a mate of mine to open a leftie / footie / alternative bar in Murrays basement. They had a new guy running Murrays who was all for it, gave him the go-ahead to start painting downstairs and all. He had dozens of images printed out on A0 to paste on the wall, and had contacted...

AFA / IPSC / St Pauli Supporters Club Christmas party with Lynched - Sat 18th Dec

After a bit of a delay (bastarding snow again,) The Wakes are on Irish soil and are looking forward to this gig as much as we are. Which is always nice. Issue 2 of the AFA Ireland freesheet "In The Area!" is just back from the printers and issue 5 of "No Quarter" will also be available.

AFA / IPSC / St Pauli Supporters Club Christmas party with Lynched - Sat 18th Dec

Ciarán Murphy has had to pull out unfortunately. On the plus side, they're in the middle of doing Murrays up at the moment, looks a lot better already. Should also have a couple of guest DJ's, one of whom is a big ska/ 2 tone fan if thats your thing.

    anti Garda brutality march 10/11/10

Great pics Janer! As for the SWP dishing out their papers, I was actually quite suprised. They kept schtum all week in the build up to the march, didn't plug it at all and then arrive up on the day doshing out their papers. Ah well, as Janer said, they're everywhere. Good stuff.

Don't need to say much about last weeks madness outside the Dept. of Finance, just sticking it up in case people haven't seen it elsewhere. There's a protest against Garda brutality this Wednesday, meeting at the Wolfe Tone Statue, Stephens Green (Opposite Dept. Of Finance) at six bells and...
