For what it's worth, they're playing this Ragged Words gig with Jogging (yawn, not again, etc) and Hunter-Gatherer in Twisted Pepper this Saturday from 11pm. I've never seen them myself.

Very sad news indeed. Never knew him all that well, but he & the other NPB lads were very good to us when we started off. He was a very friendly, chatty gent. My thoughts are with his family and friends

Cap'n Jazz played their first show in 15 years last night! In the Empty Bottle in Chicago. I know it should be weird watchin a bunch of guys in their 30s playing such teenage songs but i still find it incredibly exciting
