    just read an article in 'classic rock' about this. apparently when the plane went down one of the guys who ran for help - the drummer with 3 ribs sticking out of his chest - was met by a farmer who shot him. The rest lay dead or dying for over 20 hours in thick Florida swamp whilst the locals...
