i brought synths to cmj and sxsw before and had no problems. one small 303 as hand luggage and a bigger synth in the hold.

yeah the curtain thing was hilarious.. i also had visions of John Reynolds with an axe, chasing some lowly stage hand the bar situation was a farce too. great show all round though. visually stunning as usual.

I saw them at Benicassim this year, where they had the full line up. ammina, brass section etc. They were also on the outdoor mainstage there which was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed it but it wasn't a patch on the Olympia gig, for eg. Same for MBV. Speaking of which anyone reckon they'll...
