Here it is - the full lineup for the Beatyard festival 2016 - everything that's good & great in the world of music, food, drink, tech, science, games, sports, arts, design and discussion.

Music is of course the main backdrop to the event with international headliners disco legends Boney M, the don of funk George Clinton and reggae legend Lee Scratch Perry.
Also lined up we have Chicago soul star Charles Bradley, Grammy Award winning Brooklyn funksters Snarky Puppy, award winning soul & jazz sensation Roy Ayers, German disco houser Tensnake and Chicago house legend Theo Parrish.

We've also added huge Irish talents in the form of Jape, Hugh Cooney, Discovery Gospel Choir, Rocstrong and of course, Limerick messers Rubberbandits.

The Just Eatyard, our homage to everything glorious in the world of food, will triple in size and feature up to 30 food & drink vendors, chefs, demos, classes, and food competitions including one of Dublin's best sandwich joints 147 Deli, Bray's finest burger bar Box Burger, Asian street food kings Bread & Bones, guilty pleasure's finest Dublin Doughnut Co and 3FE Coffee. Tippletown will return with specially themed drinks bars, cocktail and beer brewing competitions and classes, as well as featuring some of the best brewers, mixologists & bartenders from around the country.

A new area, Banteryard, will host 10 talks, panels, debates & discussions. We will also be adding a ‘sports & games day’ area, Gamesyard, for friends and family groups courtesy of the Back Page folks. Our Studioyard will hone in on design, art & science with the Bernard Shaw Flea migrating to the Beatyard site with over 50 stalls for the weekend, including Dublin Vintage Factory, Tola Vintage and Tasty Threads. Sole Food Sneaker Fair, the Imaginosity Kids Science Museum, the Exploration Dome and drawing with the legendary Don Conroy. We'll have 5 craft breweries on board over the weekend to keep them tastebuds tickled.

Furthermore, the soon to be legendary Sing-A-Long Social run by Aoife McElwain will be rounding up punters to stretch their vocal chords along to the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" album, in full site of the sea.
