Saw this tonight. Very very good.
Dialogue isn't quite as snappy as the West Wing, but is very witty and works extremely well.
Hoffman is fantastic.

Saw it this afternoon, really enjoyed it.

that's well put-together. The book of the same name by Hoberman and Rosenbaum is good too.
Jodorowsky box is great, you should pick up region 1 set cheaper.

I like it - unusually for Kevin Smith cause normally I can't watch his stuff. I think it Rosario Dawson that makes it, she is very watchable in it.

awesomeness, although it kind of killed the Scorsese i loved. his first studio picture and although i've alot of time for stuff The Departed and Casino, he just wasn't the same after.

gangz imho: messy pacing, awful soundtrack, everyone except Day Lewis is woeful. it's quite a movie when you wish the stories they are talking about (the pre-story with the priest and Bill) was the actual movie.

aviator imho: looks like it was made by Taylor Hackford. it hurts to watch something as incredible as Mean Streets and try to see a flicker of in that bloated piece of shit.
