Considering something like this for Mammypants who's a pensioner that still uses a nokia candybar phone with a tiny screen. She'll use it fuck all for apps, and fuck all in general, so my thinking is - big screen - will be able to see photos and emails her childers send her, and an on-screen qwerty keyboard for texting.... That's about all she'll use it for - beyond maybe a few photos.

Be careful when you buy these phones. If they ship from Asia customs can seize them. They wait for a Samsung rep to inspect the device and if it's deemed to be a knock off of one of their models it will get destroyed.
Some of the Irish sellers on Adverts don't have the phone at hand and have get it sent from China.

i'm going to say dont buy. i got a chinese smartphone before, it lasted about two weeks, then the usb on it was so badly made it fell off the circuit board.

also, mam post only had a nokia about three years ago, now she's flat out on youtube on my old laptop. she loves the ol' conspiracy videos.

I'd stay away from that phone. Build quality more than likely awful and appears a bit underpowered.

Can't go wrong with one of these.
