I went to the coast for the sunset anywhooo

I was brought there on a school trip when I was in primary school. I don’t really remember it very well but they turned off the lights and we were to stand still and watch as they lit one up to simulate what it’s like during the solstice. Everyone freaked out and started screaming and pushing. I ended up behind a rope in a big flat bowl type thing and the school got barred.
