ugh. bouncers in there drive me up the bloody wall and out the door. what with their corn rows and hollow noggins.

definately like to see this all the same

ah cock. coulda been a beautiful night in vicar street. still going like a fucking mad yoke ow'rov'i'!!! yes!! sweet!!!

hoorah - i'll definitely be going to this. though boo, also don't think it's the right venue. vicar st.'d be lurvely.

ah fuck it, a great live experience can always transcend problems with a venue in my opinion. I'd love to think that he'll be peforming with a good sized band. Having seen the more intimate stripped down version of his music in Hugh Lane, it'd be great to go full on this time. Fingers crossed..

Jesus, I've so many feckin' gig tickets to buy now... goodbye new pants.

you're selling your pants to buy gig tickets? jasus. i have about a squillion things i want to go to as well. and a wedding to go to in america. poverty, it beckons.

i missed mr. stevens' show last year due to cunningly not being in the country, so i am most excited about this.

Oh, I dunno about that. The Village has ruined many a potentially excellent gig for me because of its shit layout, shit sound, the fact you can't stand ANYwhere in the room without being shunted out of the way constantly by people on the way to the bar and the loo. It's a godawful, overpacked hellhole and people should be ashamed to put gigs on in there, or even ask human beings to darken its doors.

I feel strongly about this.

The pants have yet to be purchased, and if the soundtrack to my teenage years continue to reform and play in expensive venues, then they may well remain so.
Lucky I have such an cracking set of pegs.
