Paging HMD

right-click and drag a selection around the bits you want to copy, press ctrl+c in the usual way. Select the point on the timeline you want to paste them, and press ctrl+v.

You can also select what you want to copy by ctrl+left-clicking them.

You can drag a copy of whatever you select to wherever you want by ctrl+left-clicking and dragging them to the new location.

You'd probably benefit from reading section 6.7 of the newest manual: "REAPER Editing Fundamentals" which covers selecting / copying and editing etc..

You can get it (Up and Running: A REAPER User Guide) here: http://www.reaper.fm/userguide.php

RTFM dude! :)

thanks pissypants.....no need for the RTFM but:rolleyes:

I have tried every combination and just cant do it...am I using the wrong tool or summat?

I cant find the download lin for the manual...can you point it out please?

Reaper doesn't really use "tools" like cubase / protools, so it should be just: Left-click on what you want to copy, press ctrl+c, click on the timeline where you want it to go and press ctrl+v.

These might also help in general gazzer, perhaps not for this specific issue though:
