That photo is the best thing I've seen in ages.

A friend of mine met his brother. Before he told me the story I said "wait they say you should never meet your heros because they usually disappoint you so if he's an arsehole don't say anything more"

To which he replied

" That saying is bullshit and he's the nicest person in the world"

I nearly cried with happiness.

Anyway. I never met him I imagine he was lovely and my condolences to his brother who has been my hero since I was about 5.

Missed this last week

Bassist Glenn Cornick, died on August 28th at age 67

They have better songs but the bass on this is pretty great

People on twitter saying how great she was still listen to Cee Lo

Well, bonkers late-in-life Zionism aside, she was a tough, salty broad who made it at a time when female stand ups barely existed.
Husband topped himself and on she went.
I was no real fan, but I thought her turn on Louie was pretty good.
I admire anyone that can carve a career out of nothing, even if I'm not a fan of the work.

Fair enough, I just place more weight on what someone says and thinks about stuff than their success or ability in their profession.

Everyone's a bit bonkers in their 80s.

I had one elderly relative that went a little nuts because I was dating a Jewish girl in the US.
Decent sort, never met a Jew in their life. All concerned for my soul.
I think you just say whatever the fuck's on your mind at that age.

I tell you what, the gay lads down my local are going to be fucking devastated.
