was told this week that you can be done for having a piss down an alley, but not taking a shite. Fairly reputable sources I've got as well.

A guy in Wexford town was prosecuted for pissing through the letterbox of a front door. It opened directly into the sitting room (small cottage) and the occupants were watching a video at the time.

Another guy [think it was also Wexford town] was done for shitting in the street. He was squatting between two parked cars and "left a nice mess for anybody to walk on" [the Judge's words]. He was caught by a Ban Garda.

A man can't be held accountable by law if he needs to take a crap.

Likewise..no establishment can legally refuse you a drink of water
