My new beast is a slightly battered 1978 Greco Les Paul which I picked up in Bangkok for about 300 quid. Loving it.

what else did you pickup in Bangkok?

here is my recent purchase:

Kramer 1979 DMZ1000
gonna replace that amber knob with a matching black one and lash on two silver pick-up covers.
the ebanol fretboard is so smooth it plays like a dream.

i have two black strat ones that say volume in white on them.

They're speed knobs on the Kramer rather than Strat style ones. In saying that, I'll take them plastic knob, can give Ernesto a black speed knob(Probably not a perfect match) and you the gold one.
