Help! How hard is it to put a video on our cd? (1 Viewer)

It's not that hard but it took us WEEKS to find out that it was actually easy.

I'll be doing a step by step article for the things website... soon. in the meantime

• Do you have the video saved as Quicktime, MPG or something
• Do you have a good CD writing software, like TOAST.
• Compile your music and instead of "write disc" choose "write session"
• Then make a new Toast file that is you video and using the same CDR click "write disc"

If you want to have a presentation screen (like the one on the Large Mound album) it's a whole other story involving Director etc... The simpleist thing is just put a video file on there, people will work out what to do with it (like the Goodtime John album)

Roxio make TOAST too. Haven't seen Easy CD thing. I reckon mpg is the safest format if you only want to put one version on the cd.

Most PCs dont have quicktime and most macs don't have media player but both programmes will play mpg files.
