another anniversary

ironically enough today, september 11, is also the anniversary of the toppling of the democratically elected government of the chilean socialist allende in 1973 in a coup organised and financed by the us government in which thousands were killed and the brutal regime of general pinochet was installed.

the reason, fear of damage to the interests of us mining companies . look it up on the net, mad stuff.

did i miss the minute of silence / bank holiday for all those tortured and killed asa result of this or are our "leaders" pseuso american lick arses. answers on a postcard to the usual address.
