There were scenes of protest outside Dail Eireann today, as a ten thousand strong crowd gathered to confront the government on their failure to bring about the apocalypse.
"This is just typical of Fianna Fail," one protestor remarked, "The only reason I voted for them in the last election was because they were the only party progressive enough to include a policy of total annihilation of the human race in their campaign agenda. But now of course they have reneged on that promise and let us all down." A spokesman for the Socialist Workers Party addded: "I don't know what this is all about, we just heard there was a protest and joined in so we could sell our newspaper."
In the run up to the last election it was Sinn Fein that made All Out Armagedddon an election issue, but Fianna Fail were the only party to really push this agenda. However, since returning to power this whole area has been largely ignored.

This just in: Only moments ago, An Taoiseach Mr Ahern addressed the crowd and announced that due to budgetary cutbacks, full scale destruction of the planet will not be feasable at this time, however, as a gesture of good will on this front, he did promise a small apocalypse to be held in 'The Hut' in Phibsborough this saturday June 18th, featuring:
[RETARDS]
WILSON
THE FRANKS
THE CLAP [going bleep]
BERRY MATIJSSEN [banana world]
NERO ANGOLA
Adm: 3euro

The crowds are now dispersing amid comments such as "That sounds good that", "Ooh, I wonder what to wear..." and "I can't wait to see Tha Clap again, those guys are well sexy." That last comment from Mr Ahern himself.

[The Hut is upstairs at Mohans in Phibsborough, I think]

aahhh it's in the hut, but. not sure aboot that venue.
speaking of which - where exactly is this place? (as i may have intoned in a previous communicé i am none too familiar with the local geography)

also - it's not a GAA or RA* head kinda place is it? (if it is we may need to write some different songs)

(these are honest questions - not simply a bump)

Remember, it's upstairs, so go in the right hand door and all the way up the stairs. Shouldn't be many 'rah heads at it but ya never know. PS It's just beside Doyle's on Doyle's Corner if that helps.

that was a great night. so many people. i was sweating like a rapist.

pa turned out to be decent. not really powerfull enough for the vocals of the loud bands but for electro or quiet band stuff it sounded fine.

the clap were !ninjaaaa . the chalets remix type thing was class. and madonna. and beat on the street. the whole lot actually.
