Dublin based Drummer available
Hi and thanks for your time,
About my drumming:
15+ years of playing with musicians, can play many styles, experience in recording and gigging, play for the song, have a good ear for music, can sing and play at same time, have kit and access to a car if needs be.
The ideal music I’m looking to play would be.
original written music / up beat/ fast/ rhythmic/ vocal led and song driven / lots of space around the instruments, (sound-wise)/ strong melodies/ raw/ hook laden rhythms/ if it makes you dance, all the better.
What I’m not interested in.
shoe-gazery/ slow/ introspective/ indulgent/ acoustic/ over-complicated/ any style that is a cross over with funk/ earnest/ walls of distorted guitar/ vocals as a mere add-on/ jazz/ metal /prog/ songs that start quiet and build to a heavy and intense climax…is there a name for that?
Some bands I’ve played and recorded with.
www.myspace.com/thebluepoles
www.myspace.com/holyghostfathers
www.myspace.com/thelongknivesireland
Some tracks I love the drumming on and the music more importantly.
Broken Social Scene: 7/4 (Shoreline) /Broken Social Scene
LCD Soundsystem: All My Friends/Sound Of Silver
Led Zeppelin: Rock’n’Roll /Led Zeppelin 4
Vampire Weekend: A-Punk /Vampire Weekend
The Stooges: Down On The Street / Fun House
Sonic Youth: Kool Thing /Goo
The Black Keys: 10 A.M. Automatic /Rubber Factory
Spiritualized: Electricity /Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
About Me.
Male, 36, living in central Dublin, love music, go to live gigs to hear local and international acts regularly and buy contemporary music of same.
If the above is music to your ears then send me a message.
Cheers
