Just saw them in London tonight, good laugh. We Gotta Know and Hard Times were fuckin brilliant! I'm not even a hige CroMags fan but this was fun.
Betrayed were also amazing, first time I heard em, kinda slept on them beforehand.

ps - i recommend Betrayed, the EP is great. Better than Champion, but no Carry On.

Mackie was originally in the Cro Mags,check the pics on the first lp.
I would like to have seen them,I've heard good things,but really,it needs to be JJ AND Harly. Pity they can't kiss and make up.

id say it was fucking great. not too huge on betrayed, they sound like all the worst parts of carry on and champion,(i.e, the excessive lead on understand). probably good live though.

Champion were decent but a tad duller after the first 7" - fuck sake I'd know - I was in a band that tried to sound like them!
Betrayed were great live - singer had lots to say between songs, nothing ground-breaking but nice to see him explain what they were on about - some good personal stuff.


One funny part was Aaron from Bane doing his usual spiel between songs ( I hadn't seen em live since 2002) and some heckler saying "just play" and Aaron was like "No why don't you shut the fuck up. I'm gonna speak. If you don't wanna think and be challenged then you missed the fuckin point of hardcore". I did giggle.
