Ah, it's a decent beard. But I don't think it does much for him personally.

He has his famous hair to think about. That hair needs to be surfing out on its own under the clear pedestal of his beaming, wondrous face.

My friend Niall ran up to him after his talk in Trinity years back, right up into his face, and said, "I have the same hair as you!" Lynch turned to him and said, "that's pretty dog darn good."
