'Deathly Words' is a breath of fresh air – an Irish artist with a genuinely original sound that has appeared from nowhere, exhibiting an almost prophetic ability to lay bare the faults and failings of Irish society.' - Goldenplec
'Deathly Words has a tenacity that many rap hip-hop records lack these days. Full of visceral orchestration and percussive electronica, the E.P. sounds a like a combination between The Wolfe Tones and N. W. A .' - The Journalist
'Takes influence from the past, but has no qualms about experimenting in the present, and that's what makes his music stand out.' - Aoife Barry, RTE 2XM/The Irish Times
'A high standard of work from a daring, idealistic new rapper' - Harmless Noise

This Place Is Death are a three-piece Alternative Rock/Grunge band, with members from Cobh and Cork, formed in September 2011.

Progressive and alternative hip-hop from three young rappers and beatsmiths on the rise. Y.P. brings forth the trap like energy, and an array of flows filled with thought provoking lyricism occasionally hidden behind his vigorous confidence and ecstatic deliverance.
The Verge on the other hand, being the more old schooled based side of the duo brings forth poetically vivid lines, uncanny flows and thoughtful lyrics laced with an old school flavour.

A metal/hardcore/metalcore quartet from Cork.
Formed early 2013, they began recording their debut EP in April 2013 and released it on September 19th.
The four track EP can be found at gigs and on Bandcamp, and two tracks, "Our Ground" and "Walker" can be found online for free.
Despite being a relatively new band, they have played all around Ireland including headline gigs in Fibbers (Dublin), multiple headliners across Cork and Kerry and a support slot to Norwegian punks Honningbarna in Dolans in Limerick
