even the best of them have an innate superiority thing. bretons/normans are the best of them in my experience. (although a lot of bretons wouldnt consider themselves french in the proper sense of the word)

it's when you use the whole bulb of garlic instead of the two cloves that the recipe recommends

A full bulb of garlic in my soup. Rather than a clove.

There's about 6 servings in the pot I made, but I must have put 10-12 cloves into it.

It gives great depth of flavour to the thing. I find anyway.

Made a side soup with just pureed broccoli stalk, chicken stock, garlic and chili powder.

It was awesome.
