The guy who took the winning shot is, apparently, now unemployed. Talk about symbolic.

A lot of awesome stuff in there. The one with the Brazilian woman trying to stop the forced eviction is also very striking.

I caught the exhibition one year in Amsterdam ... 2002 maybe? It was really something to see .... looking at the pictures hanging on a wall is a whole different ballgame than on a screen. There was a whole bunch of shots taken by some woman (Corinne something) in either Liberia or Sierra Leone which were just terrifying.

Wasn't it exhibited here (Galway?) a few years back?

Yeah, they had it up in that shopping place for a couple months. it were only deadly. Caught this or something similar in prague about two years ago too, class seeing the pics full size, makes a huge difference.
