Hello all! Here's the latest spam from Wobble, Dublin's promoters of all things bass. Foundation head in the area for our next do!

Wobble presents:

ZED BIAS (Sidestepper / Locked on)

Sub One & Konspiracy (Standard)

Richie !k & Don Rosco (Wobble)

with CASPA & ROD AZLAN upstairs in the stage room, and Tribe DnB in the Mezz

All in the Twisted Pepper, Fri 19th February

Another killer lineup in the Twisted Pepper on Friday Feb 19th. Dubstep don Caspa is in the big room upstairs, but Wobble are responsible for bringing over a historic figure in the circles of Garage, Dubstep, UK Funky and all the other inbetweeners - ZED BIAS! Responsible for one of the biggest tunes of all time in the garage scene - Neighbourhood. That was just one of dozens of bangers this man was responsible for, remixes for Gabrielle, Kosheen, Maxim, Pharoahe Monch and the Streets among others alongside plenty of his own tunes. Alongside El B & Horsepower Productions, Zed Bias laid the foundations for dubstep by forging a more experimental, stripped down sound from Garage. Now releasing tracks on and running the Sidestepper label, he remains a force to be reckoned with when it comes to beats and bass. Check the latest release with MJ Cole on beatport!

Support from two of the hardest working men in showbiz, Sub One and Konspiracy of the Standard crew - Dublin's finest purveyors of Garage, UK Funky and all that kind of business.
Don Rosco & Richie !k will be in attendance trying to get a shot as well.

I would have been mad excited to see Caspa a few years back but he's releasing some amount of shite these days. Same for Rusko. Worse than bad trance music so they are.

We were thinking of doing a benefit for Haiti, but the venues and dates didn't really work out for us, so what we're going to do is give whatever Wobble make from this and split it 50/50 between Haven and Médecins Sans Frontières. Sam Sub One has agreed to forgo his massive fee for us too, and he says Konspiracy will be glad to as well. It's been over a month, and it's out of the news a bit now, but needless to say, they're still in fucking bits over there. If you can spare anything, take a trip here:

to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières. Dig deep! Even in our recessionary state, we're some of the richest cunts in the world, so anything we can spare helps

I think that's probably a valid point, although a lot of people love that big wobbly sound. I can take it or leave it myself. Zed Bias will be on a bit of a different tip though...
