Which version of photoshop? (1 Viewer)

Looking to invest in one for j-card design and cd covers. Seems quite a few versions. I'm not looking to do anything special, just adding vintage, lo-fi affects to my pictures.
Which package should I be looking at?

Cs 5.5 us the latest, you'll have to buy second Gand if you want earlier versions. What spec machine will you be running it on?

The latest version of OS. I was looking at elements, seems it might have everything I need...

Depending on what you want to do there's loads of free stuff out there - such as The Gimp - which is essentially photoshop, but free.

There's alsoplenty of software you could get on demo for a one off project, such as one called Lo-Fi which will do lo-fi hipstamatic effects.
