What's the story with the message board layout? (1 Viewer)

Has my browser just updated to a new version that makes this look very different, or has someone purposefully changed it so that its confusing, hard to follow who's posting what, and wastes a load of screen-space?

and it has a cool feature where you can join the eirecore group - i dunno what it does exactly but it says i'm the leader... ha!

Also, i can see that hag gave me bad reputation points and called me a dickhead.
