i'm in a bit of an ambient/instruemental mood me:
super numeri - great aviaries (good - liverpudlian jimmy cake meet can meet sedatives)
loose fur - loose fur (jim o'rourke + wilco - now it sounds like jim o'rourke/now it doesn't)
boards of canada - twoism (early recordings, nae too bad)
loscil - triplepoint (v. nice ambient electronica from low and godspeed lablemates)
susumu yokota - sakura (wonderful ambient music)
philip glass - company (fantasic minimalist classical stuff - like tarentel done on strings)

yeah? i hated it at first but it grew on me a little bit...
it's nowhere near as good as any APC stuff...
have you heard apc vs matthew shipp yet?
have you heard the Majesticons album (you seem the type..psyche)?

I like the majesticons album, there's a wee bit too much r 'n' b style stuff but the hiph-op bits on it are very good.

Not heard that apc vs matthew shipp thingy, i dug out ends against the middle again recently, it's far too good.

i just don't get all the hype around 50 cent, it's not a bad album really, it's just incredibly average, i've heard a couple of his older tunes and they were much better, it's all just kinda flat. There's better things to listen to at the moment.

yeah - have heard pretty mixed reviews....think it'll be another 'try before you buy'

i dug out ends against the middle again recently, it's far too good.

it's cool but it suffers the usual curse of APC - one song is 100000 times better than everything else. i.e. - 'tuff gong'. i dug out my copy of arrythmthiatihatgahiata yesterday and found it was snapped in two. ooops.
