Ye just read a few posts on this site. The competition angle is a pity but the main objective which is promoting independent artists is very welcome.

i think it's just a shame that they've missed an opportunity to present a straight up music show that actually presents artists as opposed to this horrible lowest common denominator idea of competition
regardless of how good rsag or jape are, this still feels like an attempt at "indie camp rock" and that's very very sad
